§1Who I am
Matvii Akkuratov, independent web designer based in Stockholm, Sweden. I design and build websites for small businesses. Contact: [email protected].
§2Quotes and fixed price
Every project starts with a free 15-minute call. You then receive a written quote with a fixed price and a clear list of what it covers. That list is the scope: anything outside it is quoted and agreed separately, in writing, before any extra work starts. The price never changes mid-project because something took me longer.
§3The first-concept guarantee
You see the first real design direction within five days. If it's wrong for you, we stop there and you pay nothing. If we continue, we iterate together until it's right.
§4Payment
Invoicing is handled through Frilans Finans Sverige AB (org.nr 556802-1199), a Swedish self-employment (egenanställning) company. You receive a standard Swedish invoice with VAT — F-skatt, taxes and payroll are handled by them, and you pay to their account, exactly as with any other consultant. Unless your quote says otherwise: a part of the fixed price is invoiced when you approve the design direction, the rest before launch — the exact split is stated in your quote.
- Payment: bank transfer to the account stated on the invoice.
- Payment terms: 14 days from the invoice date.
- Late payment: interest and reminder fees per Swedish law (räntelagen).
§5Your part
I need your input to keep the 2–3 week timeline: content, photos and feedback at the agreed moments. You confirm that the materials you give me are yours to use. If content is delayed, the timeline moves with it — the price doesn't.
§6Ownership
You own everything — domain, files, code and design — from the moment the final invoice is paid. No hostage situations. I keep the right to show the finished work in my portfolio; if you'd rather I don't, just say so and I won't.
§7Third-party services
Domain, hosting, booking tools and similar services are registered in your name and paid by you directly to the provider — I help you set them up. Their prices and terms are theirs, not mine.
§8After launch
Bugs that are my fault are fixed free for 30 days after launch. New wishes, changes and additions are quoted as small fixed-price jobs — same rules as above.
§9Liability
I work with care, but a website is software living on third-party infrastructure. My total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the project. I'm not liable for indirect losses, for outages of third-party services (hosting, domain, booking systems), or for content you provided.
§10Privacy (GDPR)

- What I collect: the contact form asks for your name, email or phone, and your message. Nothing else. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers.
- Why: only to reply to your inquiry and discuss your project (legal basis: steps taken before entering a contract, GDPR art. 6.1 b).
- Where it lives: the site is served by Cloudflare; inquiries are stored in Notion; calls are booked via Cal.com. Each acts as a processor under their EU data-protection terms.
- How long: until your inquiry is resolved, or up to 12 months — then it's deleted.
- Your rights: ask any time what I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted — one email is enough. You may also complain to IMY (imy.se), the Swedish privacy authority.
§11Law and disputes
Swedish law applies. If we disagree, we talk first — that solves most things. Otherwise disputes go to Swedish courts; consumers can also turn to ARN (arn.se).
